Position Title: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Location: West Liberty, KY, 41472
Duration: Open-ended
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday possible weekend, if needed
Timings: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm


Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for youth within the facility.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and behavioral health assessments.
  • Manage suicide/homicide watch cases and develop safety plans.
  • Complete clinical documentation including intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, and court reports.
  • Lead interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and maintain meeting documentation.
  • Collaborate with correctional staff, medical providers, families, courts, schools, and community partners.
  • Develop behavioral management plans for youth with challenging behaviors.
  • Coordinate referrals for higher levels of psychiatric care when necessary.
  • Serve as on-call clinical support for after-hours emergencies.
  • Participate in evidence-based therapeutic programming after completion of required DJJ training.
  • Maintain compliance with DJJ policies, state regulations, and accrediting standards.

    • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Secondary Licenses Considered:
    • Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA)
    • Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (MFTA)
    • Certified Social Worker (CSW)
  • Additional Qualifications:
    • Must meet Kentucky KRS 600.020(52) requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
    • Experience working with adolescents, behavioral health, juvenile justice, residential treatment, or crisis intervention preferred
    • Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills.
    • Excellent communication and crisis management abilities.
    • Active state licensure in good standing required.
